….Ribs Totally Rock

1. Ribs are meat that you get to eat with your hands. I mean, how much better can it get unless you’re one of those meat-dissing vegans content to live on a steady but bland diet of pellets, beans, rice and tofu. You can, by the way, make vegetarian ribs but why bother!
2. It’s meat. I mean, you can decide between two kinds of meat - pork or beef. Personally, I like beef. Well, I like pork as well but if I had a choice..mmm….yeah, I’d go with beef…or maybe pork.
3. You can prepare ribs wet or dry (aka messy or less messy). It’s kind of like country and western - different but both as good as the other.
4. Did I mention they were meat? Well, where was I? Okay, you can eat them with a wide variety of sauces. Whether you like them tongue-burning hot or sweet as molasses, there’s a sauce for you.
5. There’s a variety of ways to cook ribs - BBQ-ed, baked, grilled, broiled.
Hey, don’t get me wrong, some of my other favorite foods do not involve meat such raspberries, blueberries, pumpkin pie, chocolate pudding and a nice medium-rare steak.

Dude, this is SO right on. Ribs do rock. On any given menu that ribs appear, I consider with every meal. Not including breakfast.
I think you are missing a reason which has to do with the process of eating ribs. There’s a certain pleasure in the combination of their softness with occasional crunchy bits. Not many foods with quite the perfect texture combination…

If we could add a 6th reason (our official constitution currently prevents it without a special order), that would be it.
