….Why Geeks Can Never be Cool

1. They believe they’re really good with the ladies if given half a chance. Of course, it’s difficult to find many women hanging out with geeks so it’s not like they get many chances. And even if they do get a chance, the geek-to-girl (G2G) ratio is extremely high.

2. Most of them are terrible at sports, unless video games count as a sport. I mean, how many geeks do you know who are physically fit? Of course, it’s difficult to be fit if you spend most of your waking hours inside. Then again, the Wii sports collection could turn geeks into quasi-athletes given you can work up a sweat playing tennis, for example.

3. They wear bad, unstylish clothes. Sorry, a T-shirt with a corporate logo isn’t stylish. And since most geeks aren’t good with the ladies, there’s no one who can take them shopping for cool clothes.

4. They spend more time on their computers than with people so their people skills are, well, wanting.

Parker: Ah, that’s a good one and, sadly, probably true. Then again, aren’t lists cool? :)
