….Pizza, Not Milk, is the Perfect Food

Pizza
1. Look at the ingredients of a pizza: flour, cheese, vegetables, tomato sauce, meat, fruit (pineapple) and fish (anchovies). What’s not to like about any and all of them? I bet one slice of pizza hits most of the major food groups.

2. There’s an amazing variety of pizzas from plain old tomato and cheese, which my father favors for some strange reason, to the carnivore’s delight. Any way you want it, you can have it, which is great because, after all, variety is the spice of life.

3. It’s reasonably priced, although you have to wonder whether rising prices for wheat is going to be make pizza more expensive. Even so, you can get a solid slice for about $2.

4. You can eat pizza for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In fact, cold pizza for breakfast is probably better for you than eggs and bacon. For what it’s worth, eating cold pumpkin pie is also a fantastic way to start your day, and also probably better for you than eggs and bacon.

This is one of the best posts that you’ve ever written, Mr. List.
My only complaint is that you didn’t make it specifically about pepperoni pizza, my favourite food.

    Keep up the great work.
