….Let it Rain, Let it Rain
1. The world is a greener, more lush and colorful place when it rains. I’d rather endure some wet days than live in a parched, arid landscape where the dominant colour is brown, the wind is full of dust and the plants/tree are dying for a cool drink.
2. Summer is already a time of year when you get to slow down and enjoy being outside. But rain gives you a great excuse to do nothing other than sit inside and read, talk or watch TV. Of course, you can always pull a Gene Kelly and sing in the rain.
3. It’s a farmer’s delight as fruit and vegetables thrive as Mother Nature rains down on the crops. You also need to mix in some sun but you don’t hear a farmer complain about the rain - unless it rains too much.
4. It reduces forest fires, raises the level of lakes and rivers, and cleans the air. Those all sounds like good things to me.
